چکیده
The appearance of brown spots and wrinkles can be a sign aging which increase the risk cancer. Compounds in broadleaf mahogany seeds (Swietenia macrophylla) contains many compounds is known to have anticancer activity. purpose this study was determine these plants potential antiaging by analyzing their molecular docking interaction on MMP-1 enzyme (matrix metalloproteinase), NEP (neprilysin), PPO3 (polyphenol oxidase), as support for search compounds. Two that strong inhibitors towards enzymes, namely β-cytostenone 3β-hydroxystigmast-5-en-7-on steroid group, well germacrena A D are terpenoids. Only compound has inhibitor enzyme. All according Lipinski rule. binds better activity than natural ligand based ΔG Binding Site Similarity (BSS) values.

متن کاملGenetic structure of Mesoamerican populations of Big-leaf mahogany (Swietenia macrophylla) inferred from microsatellite analysis.
While microsatellites have been used to examine genetic structure in local populations of Neotropical trees, genetic studies based on such high-resolution markers have not been carried out for Mesoamerica as a whole. Here we assess the genetic structure of the Mesoamerican mahogany Swietenia macrophylla King (big-leaf mahogany), a Neotropical tree species recently listed as endangered in CITES ...

متن کاملIsland Invasion by a Threatened Tree Species: Evidence for Natural Enemy Release of Mahogany (Swietenia macrophylla) on Dominica, Lesser Antilles
Despite its appeal to explain plant invasions, the enemy release hypothesis (ERH) remains largely unexplored for tropical forest trees. Even scarcer are ERH studies conducted on the same host species at both the community and biogeographical scale, irrespective of the system or plant life form. In Cabrits National Park, Dominica, we observed patterns consistent with enemy release of two introdu...
